Stage 1: Filtering outside air
The air handling unit draws in outside air, which then passes over a filter. This removes any particles or pollutants, making the air cleaner and so improving its quality.
Stage 2: Heating or cooling
Depending on the requirements of the user; the next process involves either heating or cooling the filtered air. Air handling units’ ability to produce both hot and cold air makes them useful all year round.
Stage 3: Circulating clean air
Clean, conditioned air is released inside the building, blown outwards by fans for wider distribution. This can be pumped into multiple rooms throughout a property via vent systems.
Stage 4: Old air is removed
At the same time, the AHU extracts the old air and cycles it outside, leaving inhabitants, workers or customers inside the building with a comfortable environment full of clean, fresh air.
