Air-cooled chillers use condensers that operate in a similar way to the radiators that cool car engines. The difference is that they employ a blower to force air across a grid of refrigerant lines.
About air cooled chillers
Air-cooled chiller units are often found in smaller or medium installations where space constraints may exist or access to water is difficult. They are cheaper to install than water-cooled versions and their all-inclusive nature reduces maintenance costs.
Furthermore, air-cooled chillers can be sited on a roof, allowing more space within the building for business purposes.
